Mojada Inc (4).png

Hola! My name is Yesenia Moya, founder of Mojada Inc. I'm all about transformative social movements, and we're on a mission to empower those most impacted by injustices. Picture this: healing communities from the ground up, creating spaces for leadership to bloom, and driving changes that resonate deeply.

My journey started with a personal exploration into my roots and the history of border militarization, evolving into a love for community and a sense of duty steeped in Mojada Inc's distinctive voice.

Growing up with the idea that everything outside my home culture was off was a trip. It led to the realization that both perspectives were problematic. Straddling the "rajadas" of a multilingual, multi-gendered, multicolored, and multiethnic world showed me the challenges of navigating borders between cultures and generations of pain.

This journey is a call for healing. It's about recognizing the unique mix of oppression and resilience passed down through generations. The awakening to the fact that neither Latinx nor Anglo cultures are inherently "right" underscores the healing work we champion, tackling issues like heteronormativity and patriarchy entrenched in both.

With over 18 years of diverse professional experience and an ongoing commitment to critical consciousness work, I'm here as part of Mojada Inc, mobilizing people and leaders from all backgrounds. Interested in joining the movement? Let's chat about trainings, getting involved, keynotes, or workshops—Mojada Inc style. Together, let's bring about positive change! ¡Vamos! 💪🏽

Community Educator, Artist, & Organizer

I am from a small town in Chihuahua Mexico and have lived in many places in the US and currently am in Nevada. I am a community driven educator, artist, and organizer and specialize in radical political education, solidarity work, and transformative alternatives. Through poetry, oral storytelling, digital narratives I curate spaces for BIPOC to use base building, direct community contact, and mutual aid. I am a fierce advocate/accomplice/ally in many communities, actively involved in local and national organizations and grassroot projects that are centered in queer, trans, intersectional, and abolitionist politics.

I believe our liberation is interconnected, I seek to help dismantle the current systems of oppression and build out our future through direct community support and empowerment of the pueblo.
